2. Hosting and server log files

Our websites are hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Each time a page is accessed, IONOS automatically stores server log files: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of the request and IP address. We need this data to operate the website securely and without errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not combined with other data and is deleted after the retention period set by IONOS.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with IONOS. Details: https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy.

3. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies that we set ourselves:

  • borlabs-cookie (Borlabs Cookie plugin by Borlabs GmbH, Hamburger Str. 11, 22083 Hamburg, Germany): stores that you have seen our cookie notice, together with a randomly generated ID that does not identify you. This information is also stored on our server, but is not transmitted to Borlabs. Details: https://borlabs.io/kb/what-information-does-borlabs-cookie-store/.
  • pll_language (Polylang plugin): stores your language setting (German or English).
  • Login cookies in the customer center: keep you logged in and are deleted when you log out or when the session ends.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; storing these cookies on your device is strictly necessary within the meaning of Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). You can delete or block cookies in your browser; in that case, logging in to the customer center is not possible.man Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; if you use the account as a contact person of a company, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We store the data for as long as your account exists. You can request the deletion of your account at any time using the contact details above.

6. Cloudflare Turnstile

TTo protect registration, login and password reset in the customer center as well as the login to the administration area of our website against spam and bots, we use Cloudflare Turnstile by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When these forms are opened, Turnstile automatically checks whether they are being used by a human or by a program. According to Cloudflare, this data is not used for advertising, but Cloudflare uses it under its own responsibility to improve its bot detection.
